美国有很多节目让人民有平等的机会表现才能，成为明日之星。我并没有追看这些节目，通常只是茶饭后的娱乐。今天看了这个表演之后，眼泪不停流。因为他是那么用心的唱。他的外表并不出色，不过他就是凭着一份孝心，希望能做一件让他母亲引以为荣的事而感动了我。他的发音或许并不完全准确，气也或许因为激动而拉得不够，不过我从他的歌声感受到他的情感，他的诚意，尽管我不知道他在唱什么。这就是音乐的奥妙。
他和其他参赛者不同，因为他少了自我，少了刻意打扮，和炫耀的表演。也因为这样，他是那么的自然，那么的真诚。
这，我领悟到了。
真的祝福他，希望他能如愿以偿。

Ha, I watched the debut episode of “America’s Got Talent” last night as well… I love the part where the little girl (only 4 yrs old!!) melted everyone’s hearts with her rendition of “Somewhere Out There”. Interesting show to watch… but too bad I didnt see the part wif the big guy singing cos I was watching “Nanny Daddy”.
I hope everything’s going well wif u during filming. Till then, see ya on Sun…

我很想帮你翻译，不过真的无法找出能够把这句话的含义呈现出来的字眼。这也就是为什么有时我不翻译我的文章。因为如果只是一字一字的翻译，原本的文章就会失去它的美。
有些话题我觉得用中文表达比较贴切，有些用英文比较舒服。所以我的文章不一定是完整的翻译。你看我最新的文章“Self－Portraits”就明白了。

Hmm..
Literal translation would probably mean “A simple black pen can be used to give life to a silent yet spectacular array of colors on stage.”
But I’m sure that there is a much better way to portray this sentence in its full glory. Maybe you could play around with the words used and placement?
