From an audience's perspective, I think you have done moderately well given the fact the Shuxian was a difficult role to portray(so many crying scenes!). I feel that the element that is lacking is the 'air' of that character? We can't seem to 'sympathize' with the character's story and hence that is why I think that reader felt that you have failed in your 2 roles. Anyway, I think you have improved since 5 yrs ago? I enjoy reading your blog very much too.
